Storage works best when it is planned alongside the rest of your move. If you are booking a house removal, mention storage at your free survey so it is factored into the plan and the quote. Our packing service can also prepare and label items going into storage, so everything is protected while it is held and easy to find when it comes back.

How long can I store my belongings?

There is no fixed limit. Storage is flexible, so you can keep your items for a few days between completion dates or for several months while you are away, and extend if your plans change. Tell us a rough timescale when you book and we will build it into your plan.

How much does storage cost?

Cost depends on how much you need to store and for how long, so we do not publish a fixed figure. Tell us roughly what you need stored and the timescale, and we will include storage in your free written quote with no hidden charges.

Do you collect and deliver my items, or do I drop them off?

The same trained crew that handles your move can collect your belongings, store them and deliver them back to your address when you are ready. That means you are not hiring a van or moving things in and out yourself.

Are my belongings insured while in storage?

Your items are handled by the same insured, trained team as your removal. Confirm the cover that applies to your storage at your free survey, as this depends on what is being stored and for how long.

What can I not put into storage?

Perishable food, plants, hazardous or flammable materials and anything illegal cannot be stored. If you are unsure about a particular item, ask us before your move date and we will advise.

Can I get access to my items while they are in storage?

Access can be arranged, but it depends on your storage arrangement. Let us know at the survey if you expect to need something back during the storage period, and we will factor that into the plan.

How much notice do you need for storage?

The earlier the better, especially if storage is tied to a moving date. Raise it at your free survey so it is included in the quote and reserved alongside your removal.
